Spring time is here and it’s that time of year out with the old and in with the new and your news years resolutions was to change your houses color scheme well here are some interior tips that can help you make your house work for you in this New years

Start with a Mute palette on your Walls because ALL the colors your about to use will set a Wall off if it too Much BRIGHT on the wall it will be too Much.

Use Silver or very dull mate tones on the walls, then you can use Pop arts images on the walls and that will bring it out in contrast.

Floral schemes – who doesn’t like to have floral pieces in the rooms in their home and knowing the seasons color palette you can go to the store and pick out the best

Arrangements in fake or even real flowers that will suit your color Palate (or eve fruits and vegetables)

You can contrast your floor pieces colors with your furniture Pieces making the darker colors for the floor and lighter for the future. If you follow these steps.

And Don’t OVER do it… you should be fine. All ways remember this,

The Brighter the futures and accent peace are you Always have to have, DARKER walls and Darker accents around the room to GROUND your colors.

  Color Pop!

 By: SCaRLeTT JoSCeLeTTe

Every spring and summer you see ALL the bright colors come out the closest.

From the Bright color to the patterns, and you find yourself in confusion what do I where and how do I wear it correct and not look like the rainbow.

Don’t get me wrong shopping at rainbows is fun, LOOKING like rainbow Isn’t (I mean if your going for that gay pride look GO FOR IT… do you boo, Do YOU)

But not everyone can Pull that off. And for those of us that can’t we have to play it careful. Know the trend but play with that POP of COLOR.

1 Pretty Pastels – this the season for the pastel pallet so you simply need to pick YOUR favorites in pastels colors Mix and Match and you should be Safe.

If you don’t Like safe let play sassy and Mix it up with

2. Contrasting Colors - ;ets have a color lesson Contrasting colors are those colors that are across from each other on the color wheel.

Wear it them as two separate solids or Mix it up and have pattern of the two colors and sold top of one  and opposite pant or skirt of the other. (I suggest one be Mute or Matte tone so it don’t feel SO over pweing when owrn together… Breaks up the Brightness)

3 Fantastic Florals – Floral Patterns are back and who doesn’t like a nice Flower (Love a nice rose in pattern) it my Favorite, and if you pick the right Mix of the Bright pastel you can wear it and tie it together with a White paint and denim top or Mix it up and play with the colors in the pattern. Either way you will make a powerful statement.

4 Pop Art – yeah, you heard me right Pop Art that art done it Bright colors in for Matching color quires of celebrities or items.

This can be fun yet Tricky it ALL in how you do it and depending on how OVER POWERING the art is.

Is it small and Multi patterned all over a Blouse creatively? Or is it 4 BIG squares on the FRONT of your shirt.  In this case That and ONLY let can be your focal peeve anything else will be TOO Much and TWO loud, if you chose to where ANY color in the print, make them be a statement sold and everything else must be VOID of color or be on the darker end of the spectrum.

You don’t want to look like a target.

·        Beauty Talk

 By: SCaRLeTT Joscelette

How long is too long to keep your Beauty Products. I know we all have done it. We have gone out and Bought make up palettes and Brush's for a event or because they looked pretty at the time.

We wore it for that ONE event, or said “Oh I’ll buy this NOW and use it when I’m ready”

NOT good, do you KNOW the shelf life of a average make up.

Yeah make-up has shelf life time that you can use it before you MUST through it way.

Because

·         It’s old
·         It’s contaminated
·         It dried out (obviously)

The list goes on, something so simple but we constantly forget to do it. Check the expiration dates on our Make up.

Standards

·         Powder foundation 2-3 years

·         Lips stick tubes (6m – 1 year) depending on the brand

·         Eye shadows (3 -6 months) 3 months to be safe… 6 standard on the package (if it’s WELL sanitized and taken care of)

I did hand test of a make up I had for 3 years to see what effect it would have on my skin and I’m here to tell you, when I put the foundation on the back of my hand it looked great, 3 minutes later it began to tingle and I noticed that my pours literally looked like they had turned into Bumps from irritations.

Best advice – CHANGE out ALL your make up every 2- 6 or 6 – 12 Months JUST to be safe.

·        Color Crash Course

 By: SCaRLeTT JoSCeLeTTe

Every season there is a color palette for that particular season and spring time most of the time it’s a mix of pastel shades Mixed with other colors.

They mix and patch and choose the particular color palette for ALL the clothing for the season.

Have you ever went into a mall and noticed every store in every window has similarly patterned clothing and colors, ALL of them are following the same color palette for the season through there fashion forecasting .

One you have a under standing of that you need to know what colors to wear and what ones NOT to wear, and this is when it becomes imperative to Know your own season color palette.

The most important thing Is to know your color and what works well for you so that you don’t have a color disaster, or color clash, last thing you want to do is go to a event and everyone wonder if your sic because the color you have on washed you out made you look that way.
