am loving eye shadow as of lately because I can play around and do so Much More

I first started playing with makeup I was a rookie and did not know I need to
prime before my eye makeup would stick and now that I have got that down I like
to play with color palettes.

use a green eye shadow palette when I want to create a more spring look.
Let
time I went out I had on a silky purple top so I use my NYX run way palette to
create a smoky eye with the velvet rope palette
Love
it because that one of my fav albums from Janet Jackson. i digress.
Gave
myself a Purple smoky eye look with a red lip and it was a rainy day so the
dark makeup worked.
I
have gold smoky eye palette where I used a dark shown on the side and shimmery
gold down the middle and paired with my mascaras it just Brought my eyes out

Take
the hair fully washed blow dry it but do so giving it volume toss your head
over and blow up into the hair when don toss it back and you have fullness to

pompadour.

What
the biggest worry for a designer each season. Let me tell you this.
It’s
not the designs it’s the pick-up. A designed has to pre forecast for the
season. They need to know the colors the style the trends and then they have to
design Authentically accordingly.
They
can spend hundreds of dollars on manufacturers tailors fitter sewers
accessories and they have to hope that there vendors with pick them up or won’t
drop them because someone they feel is better came along and if they do what
are they going to do with all that merchandise they set up to be shipped out to
these vendors.
Then
if they get a full set of shipments of an entire line… IS IT RIGHT. Does it fit the body the way it’s supposed
to… if it isn’t… it can’t be sold or it has to be sent over to the bargin
basements to be sold which the design has to take a lose because the bargain
basement will only pay a quarter of what it cost to produce the shipment.
So
designers are running a gamble every season one that could win one that could
loose if they win then it’s all going to come together. If they don’t depending
on how new they are they could be okay or they could be DONE

tight and our legs toned so we can getting that bathing suit so what can we do
while enjoying the summer time events and not destroy ALL the progress we have
made.

are some summer time treats to keep you on your toes and in your bikini body.

Fruit salad
It
good to you and good for you, throw all your favorite fruits together chop them
up and have them with a doll-up of wiped crème in a oversized martini glass and
you feel tropical already.

Whole grain salads
We
are use to the everyday salad with lettuce tomato and whatever other vegetable’s
or meets we want to toss in but let’s say we strip it

say we take some grains and bake it, followed by freshly chopped kale, huge
chunks of cucumber and tomato. With a fresh lemon dressing on top mix it up and
it’s ready to eat.

baked chicken sandwiches
Take
a freshly cooked chicken breast toast a wheat hamburger bun (with or without sesame
seed) mayo (they now have with olive oil) Ranch dressing. Lettuce cucumber and
shredded carats

your bun. Mix your ranch (if you like Ranch with avocado try it out) mix it
with the mayo spread it on the bun.
Slice
your cucumber. Place the lettuce on the bottom chicken breast on the next layer
cucumber and carrots on the top t it off. Grab your favorite kettle chips. Or
steamed veggies

you drink and you’re ready to have a nice meal and it’s not that many calories.

over wet then just do the roots and sleek them back and lest the rest of the
hair hang in lovely loose waves.

Don’t go dousing your hair

swimming pool and hit the street.

On my Mind
Lately,
well have you ever felt stuck. You know how it is when your at a cross roads in
you life and you don’t know which direction to turn. Go left or right. Go
forward or go back.
In
the past 3 months I have has one of the
most exciting and invigorating experiences in my life, I actually got to
live my life and see my life for what it was.
For
what it could be if I kept my self and my options open and I LOVED it. Then I
find my self facing my reality. That I don’t have a lot and I don’t know where
my next pay check is going to come from but you wanna know something.
I
looked back on my life and I saw the person I was before that period of time
and I realized something. I don’t want to be here again.
I
had to do a LOT of hard work over the past few months to get where I did and
the only thing that changed was ME. I stopped.
I
stopped because I became afraid of having the weight of what I was doing on my
head. But guess what.
That
weight was already there I just didn’t feel it. Nothing changed except a pay
check and you know what as long as I keep my options open there will be another
pay check. I just have to stop trying to control things I was only when I stopped
trying to control things was when things started to fall into place Not before.
When, I let go and let god have it.
We
as a people are terrified of uncertainty. Not knowing where our next dollar is
going to come from. Not knowing when we are going to reach the goals we want.
Wanting money that we don’t have to do the things we want to get done? And you
know what you won’t ever get it worrying about it.
Worry
is a sin before the lord himself. You place those worries before the lords feet
and let him take them away. You feel free and during those 3 months I did that
and my entire life lit up but eventually I started to slip back into wanting to
control what I wanted and now I’m almost right back to where I was because I
stopped believing and started becoming practical.
The
lord is not prtical. He only ask for you to have faith. Ask and believe and it
will all fall into place.
Is
there ever anything you wanted in life that your just not getting and you don’t
know why.
Here’s
my challenge to you, Ask the lord for it every morning when you get up. Then
let it go…. Go on about you day not thinking any more about it and then see
what the lord does to make it happen/

Wow summer is here again
where the time goes. It felt like just yesterday we were saying goodbye to
summer 2014 and here we are back to summer 2015.
It has been a very good year
so far for me and I hope to have much more to come together for me..
But summer time what does
this usually mean. Well when I think of summer time I tend to think of the sun
being out. The Heat….. Tossing off the sweaters to make way for short sleeves
shorts and flip flops.
Kids out in the street playing
in the fire hydrant. (do people do that any more) no one wants to stay in doors
they want to be out and having fun.
Going to every event in town
or taking trips to some place nice and tropical where they can put on there
bathing suits and sit on the beach lounging in there Bikini.
Summer time is a time for
socializing and fun time. With you friends and what are you going to WEAR to do
all these things. What kind of drinks should you be enjoying. What kind of food
should you be trying out that won’ t Throw you off your diet.

8 Carrot Oil Treatments
Let me tell you, this oil…..
THIS OIL RIGHT HERE. I put a sample pack of this oil in my hair after I washed
it with a cucumber moisturizer and BABY… let me tell you My hair was SO SOFT
after wards… and I can say this because my hair dry is like a billow pad… this
stuff made it feel like cotton candy it was so soft and moist… I just wanted to
keep it out and open and feel the moisture but I had to corn row it up but it
corn rowed so nice with that stuff on it I must say.
9 Olive oil Treatment
I used this after I
conditioned my hair ad baby let me tell you this mixed with another
moisturizing treatment I used and it made my hair super soft. I must say after
sampling it I will most definably buy it to replace some of the other products
that didn’t mix to well when I used them.
10 Maybelline Baby Lips lip Gloss.
Spring time is heare and the
lips are getting dry with the dry air so you need a good lip closs to plump and
pucker up you lips(it does not have anything in it to actually plump them)
But it will make your lips
look moist and plump for the spring time season

staple because I have a lot of dark marks on my skin and it’s perfect for

I
love to use this to highlight and brighten up spots on my face like down the
middle of my nose or under my eyes. Make up is like painting you wouldn’t forget
to lighten areas on a painting don’t for get to do the same on your face.
5 L’Oréal eye shadow palette
I
love this palette because it a great bargain for about 9 dollars. It has Browns
golds and your dark shadows and when I use it it gives my face the glorious
glow and I feel like a movie stair when I’m in it.
6 L’Oréal Deep red lip color
I
live for my deep red lip color, My brand is SCaRLeTT so everything must reflect
my red side and L’Oréal has great red lip color that I use that is so red it
almost looks Brown but it makes my make-up
pop with that deep color I love it so will you and it’s a steal for 8.99.
7 Lip Liner
I
found a great lip liner from L’Oréal I believe and it is a beautiful deep red I
use it to line my red lip colors when ever I go out (I’m considering buying the
black liner because the black just makes the lip color pop even more then my
red)
8 eye Liner pencil
I
personally bought the wrong shade I should have gotten black and I got a Brown
that Pretty Much Matched my skin but it does match my eye Brows and eye lashes
but it doesn’t give my face that pop like it should but it’s my Maybelline and
it was 9.99
9 Powder Foundations
I
don’t use powder foundations much I almost use it more as a setting powder then
as a actual foundation it’s also by L’Oréal and it was about 8.99

product, I don’t like to use make up foundations that have SPF in it because when
I take picture it make my face look pale But this one works beautifully because

Every season I become inspired by what’s going on I love to look at what’s happening what’s the new hot hip and young colors for the season and then see what I like.

love to get a moos board together and set up my season’s looks and Idea’s for
this season. Look at the magazines look at the top looks then I look at my
favorites.
What’s
style pop out at me and then I take all these things and I start sketching or
start planning my looks for the season.
I
love to look at what’s in in fashion what’s pretty in art and what colors are
going around and treading. Then I strip it down to the bare minimum and build
it back with only what I like.

Three ways: to
wear a tank top
It’s so it spring time and everyone does it the second they
feel the sun on there face and the cool breeze on there face they are ready to
shed the layers and put on something little and skin showing.
So it’s time for that tank top so how many ways can you

But be aware you may still pay 2 hundred dollars for
something or more because it was Just that much pre expensive but you get the
mark down and that Is what you’re really after more than anything else.
You can go to H&M and find some major clothing brads
because now these clothing stores you thought were cheep are actually working
together and collaborating with some of the major designers to bring you some
of their best looks at affordable prices.
So that celebrity style look can be done in a flash with
little to no effort.
So a nice Mini casual dress with some nice heals an a sleek
coat you May have seen Eva Mendez in is
ready for you to pick up. Not to mention a lot of celebrities understand the plight
of there fans and starts like Eva have their own clothing line you can pick up
the clothing they wear right from there store

Instant Style
Spring is here and that means a lot more
events and wedding baby’s showers dinners lunches and branches are coming together
and that means you may need to run from work to a outing in an instant so what
do you do to change from day to night.
Let
me tell you what I did. I had an event I had to be at in the evening, it was
cold in the morning so I put on a sweater and the slacks I was wearing that
night but underneath my sweater I work the top I as planning to change into.
Because
of the chill and the office I was comfortable all day went to the bathroom and
took the sweater off put on my frilly top over my slip top and strapless Bra
and kept on my slacks
Re
adjusted my hair “if you’re a wig girl switch a wig (Ya’ll girls know you have
your day Hair and your Night party hair) slip in them sexy earrings and jewelry
and you’re out the door.

Every year the seasons
Change so do the colors sometimes you see the same colors bleed from one season
to the next. So what do you do.
The trends have pattern explosion
and color craze. So how do you avoid a color Crash when you’re trying to stay
hip with the top trends?
Look at what’s hot, is it to
much pattern to many colors or is t to dull not enough colors.
Great trick, if you want to
wear a pattern form the season. Pick the pattern and then pick the color set
and make sure your accompanying peace’s are within that color way.
Example deep blue and white
plaid pattern. Get a deep blue skirt and a white sweater to go of your plaid
top the pattern stands on it’s on and the colors you paired with it make it
look more Fierce.
If your paten has a lot of
Bright’s do the same and another trick if the paten has a gold or a silver in
it use this as a opportunity to put on Gold and silver jewelry, jewelry comes
in so many colors and stone s that you can add accent pieces that match the pattern
while wearing other solid colors with it to balance it out.

You compromise for me it has
always been about inspiring you ladies to find YOUR perfect not my perfect so
what do you like?
Do you like jeans with nice
flowy blouse to you like crop pants with a crop top. What do you like?
My first suggest to every
lady is look in your closet see what you have your tees your jeans your shorts
then you know what I want you do with it.
Put it back and then take a
look at some of this season hot trends and see what matches you.
You like sun lasses because
the suns coming back out and it’s starting to get hot again so let’s look at the
sound lends look.
It’s hip hot and trendy and
when you don’t wanna thro on make up get a nice pair of nice sized shades and
there you go.
How about scarfs, if you
loved to wear something colorful around you’re next to keep warm but you don’t
want something heavy look in to a nice light weight scarf to wrap around your
neck to keep the Spring Breeze away.
So how about a nice tunic, I
like those because you can where them big and flowy or you can toss on a belt
to accentuate them and give your figure more of a curvy fit to the body look
depending on how you belt it and looks great on an expecting mother.

Designer Focus
Currently
My focus as a designer is what’s trending what’s hot and what’s Not and then I
think about what silhouettes I find fin for these season I want to create.
I’m
thinking summer in Africa and Brazil, what prints come to mind when I think
about these things, tribal prints.
I
take them all create a mood board and get inspired seeing the colors shapes and
styles that I want. Then I get to the drawing board and I star Drawing and so
it begins.
But
before I go I want to switch it up and I want to talk about a design.

What
Makes a designers tick? What is that thing that starts the wheels to Turing to
start churning out those designs that will make the runway catch on fire?
Inspiration,
inspiration is that thing and it can be triggered by something so simple as a
butterfly flapping its wings that will make a designer see a dress will the log
flowy bell sleeves made of a oversized dyed print that when looking at it in
motion moving down a run way it mimics the butterfly.
That
is inspiration at its finest, when you can see something that No one would ream

and sense this is about being inspired I’m going to tell you about something
that inspired me these weeks.
I
saw a not from a social network from a nutritionist and I contacted her asking
her about what it was I could do about stomach problems.
I
was suggested a Alkaline diet (I hope I said that right) but it is a structured
guide of things that you can pair up that are good combination to help your
diet.
For
me I am heavy acidic stomach and I constantly have problems with acid content
balance. This diet has carts that show you what level of acid all the food you
eat is and some you don’t even think of that are FILLED with acid.
They
have recipes that really just remove aside and for me I think this is a
incredible discovery for people that need to watch what they eat.
Food
planning and diet it essential to healthy living and healthy lifestyle. And you
can mix it up and match it make the diet to fit your food needs and it doesn’t
have to be a task to eat a meal.

8 Hair and Make Up Magic tricks
It’s a new year
and new seasons so new hair trends so I’m going to tell you the ones that
shocked and inspired me
#8 – The knot
yeah sounds like something fancy right Nope…. It’s exactly what it sounds like
you take the hair and tie it in a knot. There are different variations but
pretty much the same thing knotting the
hair.
#7 – lets get
wet – yup lets wet that hair and sleek it back do it how you want sleek it back
for that sheik Beyoncé I am Sasha fierce sleek back mullet look or pull it back
and tie it. Just take it back and sleek it down
#6 Corn Row it –
No don’t go and start looking like a jail bird that just escaped from prison
cornrows (bad joke… No Yes… Moving on) do one or two corm rows around the ear
accessorize and curl your Hair and let it Hang loose what I like to call the
faux shaved side look (you know what I mean)
#5 Accessories –
accessorize your hair, what do I mean, flowers clips, Hair jewelry you name it
you do it, it’s in like fine from spring.
#4 Bob Cuts –
Cut your Hair into a Bob, Love it… two springs ago I cut mine died it dark bound
and I’m a sandy blond I wanted that Alicia keys angle cut realness with my
hair. You know the real steep cut from the cover of her last album. Yeah that.
#3 Messy top –
can I take moment to step out my fashion box and say WHY, I have seen several
people with this look and it make me just wan to take a comb to there head I
digress… Moving on, not sleek but stylish (great for if you’re in a rush and
can’t take a comb to that head) wrap it pin it and roll out.
#2 Boy Cut –
yeah that really short cut for the ladies that looks like a boy cut, I believe
they also call it a pixie cut don’t quote me on that. Side not I actually want
to cut my hair like this once in my life not now because I just spent 2 years
trying to grow it out and if I do that cut now it would defeat all the hair
growth progress I have maid. Next, option wig just to see what it would feel
like.

part – sleek the top down and part it at the side and you got it, great for a
night out when you want to look on point casual.

my modo is set the trend don’t follow it? So because I’m about inspiration
every season before I sit down and write a slew of these articles for you guys
I look at fashion trends.

I know I just said set the trend don’t follow the trend and what I do is this I
know what I like which I’m sure you know what you like and I can tell you
exactly what to go out t and buy but it’s not about that it’s about that
It’s
about you taking what I say and applying it to what YOU love.
I
could tell you right now to go out and get a leopard print dress but what if
you don’t like leopard print. Here is
where you set the trend. You find what YOU like about the season color schemes
and trend s and YOU find what fits you.
Now,
let me tell you what is really now for right now so you can get out there and
set YOUR trend.
70’s
is back but not in the traditional sense of big loud and bright the silhouettes
are back and the styles are back but not the colors it’s 70’s Now would be what
I would call it.
So
here’s my suggestion, if you like heels, got out there and find you the fierce
platform heel in YOUR favor color.
Tunic
dresses are back as well as neckline maxi dress. I love a nice printed maxi
dress, but you can find a print that fits you and rock it like a rock star.
Waist
pants are back in with the loose or bell bottom leg (I LOVE me a bell bottom) I
loved the 70’s for that.
A
nice tee crop top or tank would be nice to wear to top it off. Find your
favorite color in the color scheme of the seasons,
Mix
it up and Match it and you will come out on top every time. But remember to set
your own trends

On my Mind
Grinding
No
not getting up in the club and twerking it out. Get your head out the gutter
and get to WORK. Work yeah I said it work.

I’m
a Grinder, set me ina direction and I will go for it. It’s so funny…. I didn’t
use to grind like that. I would dream and sit still. But dreaming isn’t sitting
still it’s getting up getting out and doing with your life.
So
I did, I started getting out going to events and hanging out in groups with
people and saw and heard about things and I just moved,
Sleep
sleep is for wimps. When I am on my grind and I mean really on my GRIND, , I
get 3 to 5hours of sleep a night I work for 8 hours come home and work some
more on my college work. Then I plan to roke some more on my articles for you
guys, my business plan, my life plan and you know what keeps me sane thought
all this.
Meditation…
say it with me now MEDITATION and Faith when I meditate do my yoga and become
one with ME and my lord… I say this and when I start vlogging I will say this god
is within you.
Let
me clarify that GOD is where ever you are all around you and if he is in YOUR
spirit he is within YOU. And when you become one with the god within YOU. The
world will open up for you. You just have to be willing to accept it.
When
I accepted Jesus Christ as my guide in my life no one else my life started to
change and is still changing and I wonder and marvel every day as I see the
amazing thing coming to me because of this change I decided to make.
If
your out there searching for SOME ONE to tell you what to do you need to stop
and listen to god he will tell you everything you need to know I know a lot may
say “he has no voice he can not speak to me” he does he does it everyday that
little voice that warns you not to do something or gives you intuition in your
life about your action that THAT is god speaking to you you just have to listen
and it will all come to you.

Inspiration, that Is what
I’m feeling and thinking about and that what I feel this season is going to be
about, being and becoming inspired… what inspires me what inspires you.
Isn’t that what fashion is
about Inspiration, 100%, what in your life inspires you spring it’s the
shedding of the old year getting ride of our layers and becoming a butterfly.
Unwrapping who you are. What you represent.
That is what fashion is
helping woman find their unique self by enhancing the outside to bring out the
true you within.
No matter what it is from
reading a book reading the bible getting closer to god through prayer and
meditation, getting out socializing just getting to know who you are as a
person. Getting to what you love what ever it is it may not always be easy but
let your mind dream big and not only dream it do it.
I started this blog for
years ago I fell off and came back feelll off and came back you actually
haven’t seen ALL the articales I have to offer you all that hae been written
and are just waiting for you to be seen. If they never make it to the blog they
will make to you in a book or some other form.
But point is I was inspired
and I was dedicated to not letting this dream die, because the only thing
stopping me was me and lost of that inspiration. But I’m back and I’m in this
for the long haul. So much so I am in the middle of a Journalism bachelor’s
degree to prefect this.
All because of inspiration
and I’m inspired by projects, many projects I have coming down the pipeline. I
have BIG plans which means your going to be seeing and hearing A LOT more about
SCaRLeTT JoSCeLeTTe it’s about to become a house hold brand just you watch, the
empire is coming.
