What’s Your Perfect Look, Well I will use myself as a Example in this, I will explained the perfect from head to toe. 

For me I was born with kinki Hair and let me tell you I have played around with my hair but my mother said it best after she first permed my hair “your hair is so much more manageable with a perm” and it is, I Had dreads for like a year and a half (That Phase died Quick Fast and in hurry) Lucky me they never actually locked so I was able to take it out and go back to A PERM!!

What I wanted to do when I became of age to make my own designs I wanted to die my hair RED (I’m a natural honey blond , for a mixed complexion of Carmel skin tone) and guess what I did, and all the people wanted to kick my ass, but after a minute of the shock wearing off Everyone LOVED IT!! I’ve toned it down but I still wear red to this day and everyone loves it my hair dresser is always in aw every time she does it she say “this color looks so good on you” it does

Now my clothing, I have to say it I’m a fashion person but I go through Phases of just not feeling like doing the while Make-up hair pristine look not feeling it

But I do Know how to dress when I dress to go all out, I know what looks good on me “my point is you have to know what looks good on you Point blank period

I can throw on a crisp shirt creased slacks and a blazer and I’m ready for work if my hair is a mess come it and put it in a bun or a French roll some foundation, top coat and then a bit of lip stick and a eye shadow light pink works for me and red lip and I’m ready to go

When I go out I throw on a pair of loose fitting pans a nice drape sleeves top in a print with black going down the middle sow a little cleavage, got a new InStyler so I like to use that to curl my hair after I have washed it and get that perfect curl (Spirals my Favorite) they hand down my back, a nice flat shoe (heals hurt to much) and I’m ready to go

I remember one year I bought a black halter top I wore it with a long black skirt that created a Long black maxi dress look and my hair curly and a touch of make up and I looked to die for.

Know you Look and live your look, weather it’s casual in a pair of jeans a a blouse or tee, know what makes you YOU and WORK IT!!

A man of Style to me is a person that knows how to wear his clothing whenever he goes out whether it’s casual or in order to look good for any occasion,

A man of style to me is one that can ear a nice button up shirt and a simple pair of slacks and make it look good when he’s just going out for a quick run, or to run an errand.

Then they can go out at night and put on a nice black or blue dress shirt with just enough skin that make them look just right through on a nice pair of shades and good pare of pants that fit him just right and then good shoe with a short heal on it leather or suede (because when your man s rolling out you can have him wearing any old tennis shoe with what he’s wearing)

There are man that have more style then others and those other need help and ladies this is when your man need to follow what Beyonce said “Let me, Let Me, Let me…. Upgrade you”

Ask a designer is about get the Point of view of a designer on something when it comes down to the summer and the summers trends and basically How it was made

The Outfits you wear every day to the runway catwalk, but ho did the clothing get there, was it easy No, people never seem to get the amount of construction that goes into a garment being made

People get excite when they find out someone they know knows a designer but they have no Idea what they are asking when they ask a designer to design a magnificent dress from out of there head.

Fashion design is about construction and it’s like creating a blueprint for an outfit and once that blue print for that outfit was made ,

Most people those long wedding gowns with the fish tails have to be cut on the bias (across the fabric so you get he most length out the piece of fabric and still get a bit of stretch) Garments take time first you have to take a sketch pull a pattern or create a pattern from scratch which will cost A WHOLE LOT MORE!!

Create a block pattern piece for it then cut each peace custom for the garment and then if the garments has style lines they have to be contoured to fit the body and if you have layers you have to come up with patterns for that because a layer will more than likely have a smaller peace and gradually get smaller the more layers you add.

Then you come into a whole new story if the garment has beading, Embellishment, and embroidery and all of these add into your costing and it takes A LOT of time that why cotouriers make there clothing worth thousands of dollars

The summer outfit, Maybe you didn’t Hear me THE SUMMER OUTFIT , what is the Summer Outfit,  well I leaned this Best from a Business owner

THE MAXI DRESS, What because it’s versatile, you can wear it in many different ways and because of that fact it gives you the ability to play around with it as you know we all love to play around with our clothing

Dress it up How do you do this, well   you like necklace you can wear it around your neck or if you love that fashion tread of wearing multiple necklaces then twist them and put it on (but if you sweat you will sweat I them)

Or you can wear the necklace as a belt one time I bought a gold loop belt and wore it as a necklace because I could wrap it like I wanted

Put on your bangles or multi bracelets and a nice pair of sandals, a nice bag and your sun glasses and your ready to make it for the day

But what happens when your girlfriend calls you up and says “girl I wanna go out tonight” well that when you “quick change”

Your quick change is to take that maxi switch it out for a Mini change them sandals to your high heal version (show them some leg) what the harm in showing some leg.

Let your hair down put on the classy shades for the night time the ones with no frames that are small and compact and make your night time outfit look great and then you grab your clutch and your short leather jacket in case of a chill and you’re out the door

 It’s SUMMER TIME the time of the year where the clothing comes off simply because it’s the time of year it’s to hot to wear anything at all really, so what  do you wear, Really what do you wear

Well that the reason I’m here to tell you what it is that you should be wearing at this time, so I’ll give it to you simple the clothing that you should be wearing and later on in later articles we all go into more detail of what’s hot and what’s not

So what do you wear, well think sun dress a nice Maxi dress out of a cool material would be great for a nice day

You can even tun that maxi into a mini for a hot night at the club with your friends or lover (wink wink)

Then you follow that with a nice cool Blouse, something with straps and if your feeling frisky one without, a nice camisole top is always a good idea for the summer.

Then you have to have some pants right, if you like shorts that’s always good, (but never cloche cutter short that just disgusting) 

Then you have short skirts or long skirt with thin material, but if your going to wear short skirts “PLEASE don’t make them hooker trashy short”

You KNOW that not fashion able so please have some common sense when it comes to what you wear please thank you

How can you get dressed and not wear shoes, I remember one time I was at a job interview for a clothing store it was summer time and I had to help the person find what they were looking for in the store and I put together the perfect outfit for a beach party gave them everything guess what I forgot … can you guess, don’t know … IT WAS THE SHOES!!

This I the time of year everyone pulls out there sandals a nice flat if that what you like and if you like a heal that an be good too but be aware of what you like more than anyone else

And it’s not summer without a good pair of cool shades are what make your outfit and it gives you that movie star look that most people look for and Value Most that you have musician sing about their Casells, Raybands  what have you gotta have a good pair of shades you always wanna look Hollywood

Hey Guys, Welcome back summers is coming so we are back with the next edition of Scarlett Joscelette Fashion Forward Magazine In this Edition were going to be updating you on al the hip and hot things for summer from what to wear to how to make your home look dressed to impress.

With this magazine I want to show you everything from art to fashion to food, Scarlet mainly is about the everyday woman and the little business people that meet each of your need because we all know celebrities get to much attention,

We try to build and mold the model and success full woman. This magazine will show you a few different Element of Design Graphic design and how I use them.   

For me my life is about Art and design in all the ways that I can do it I will do it and I am currently in the process of helping myself do so

Fashion design, it has been my passion from a very young Age and I remember sitting in the living room and sketching little drawing of figures in dresses as well as I could draw them back them

            Then getting old and starting to draw dresses on people from the pageants I would see what they were wearing and start to redesign them myself in little dressed and crokies that I found.
