Well I have always been a lover of home decor and when I was younger I too a class in interior design and passed it.

I love interior design because it gives you the ability to change the space in which you live in and make it fully and completely your own

It’s my firm belif the space that you live and exist in has an effect on your mood, if you live in a cluttered space your mood would be cluttered

If you live in a organized space your mind will be organized and you will want to stay that way

So I’m going in to show you and example of my perfect space

in my blue bedroom with black accents and fine white framing on the walls, got to my master bath that is huge has a walk in shower cream, burgundy and Tan bathroom, with accents, I shower brush my teeth walk out and across my dream blue plush carpet that feel like Heaven to my toes to my huge walk in closest    

I walk down the huge stair case that faces my furors that has a huge circle window above my entry door that has two long side windows in it. I step over my huge dog that is a great daine and Doberman pincher mixed but this is a huge dog and I have two. I walk past my huge living room which the furior doors are open that shows off the tans rusts rose pinks of the room that has a light brown walls a huge 3dhd TV on the wall over the fireplace my wedding pictures on each side of the mantel  a living room set that is a mixed print fabric tans rusts rose pinks, rose pink carpet, huge windows, covered in rose pink curtains tans curtains and cream or tan transparent curtains. Paints and sculptures around the room.

I walk down the hall behind the stair case into the kitchen entrance and that is a nice kitchen in tans black that has a another nice sized 3dhd TV with a Mini laptop in a chubby whole that can be connected to it for conference calls, I have rich brown high cabinets and low cabinets line the walls of the kitchen that stop just short of the kitchen nook that has a wonderful black and gold pine line in the glass and black chairs flower planter hangs above the table with a beautiful  the panel picture window.  

That is my perfect dream home do I have it no but as you can see I have described to you just one of the most magnificent homes that I would dream of own and if you have the dough to make it happen you could transform your home into that dream for yourself

3.      A nice Blouse and a crop pant out a of a thing material that can breathe, you know ladies how you love to get nice and colorful blouses that make your skin breathe and a nice thin khaki pant that just screams wear me because today is too hot for anything else

4.      The tie die dress – you know the one where it looks like a art project on fabric (great for fashion designers because you can go to the store and grabbed a plain white or light colored dress and take it home dip dye it and you got something you can instantly sell) but these are comfortable stylish and can be with almost anything

5.      The maxi dress – this is the most popular summer dresss that you can buy weather you were prints or you like it plane and like to punch it up with a bit of jewelry this is the must have dress of the summer

6.      Bikini – if you don’t have a bikini you must be crazy because a bikini is something that you need to have as soon as it heats up outside ladies hit the beach and you gotta have that 2 piece that make the boys howl, and you can strut in that says “I’m ready to hit the beach.  

7.      The shorts jumper outfit, this is a thin material that is made like a pair of shorts and a top put together It can be a button down or a step into, but there cool comfortable and can be in any plain or pattern you want

Breakfast:  is one of the most important Meals of the day and when I Make it I always try to go for what tastes good my favorite Breakfast foods

 

A nice plate of Eggs and bacon some people like to go on the health side and make turkey bacon or those eggs in a carton that are just the whites of the egg, they are better for you then you can have the vegetarian subtitle for that type of breakfast but instead of all that I would just go for organic

Pancakes and waffles 

For a person that loves cakes pies and everything of the sweet world the most favorite breakfast staple is a small stake of pancakes or waffles and I LOVE that I Finally was able to get a Waffle Iron s the Options are absolute endless to the things that I can do to create the perfect breakfast, but I think it’s more important now to be making these things with gluten free, sugar free, and lactose free things because it would be a health conscious society  

Lunch

For me Lunch is the most important meal of the day, because most of us on the go people weather it’s school or work don’t really have time for breakfast and they like to spend a little bit more time with lunch. 

Lunch is that meal in the middle of the day that you don’t want to be to heavy you want it to be your light meal so you may not want to eat all that much.

Salad

I have always been fond of the tossed salad, something simple and green or a Caesar salad with a bit of chicken added and all the colorful vegetables something light to start your meal and have when I make a salad I like to mix it up with what I have in it the type of greens tomatoes the type of chicken or seasoning

Main course

Alfredo this is a nice dish I love to make for lunch or dinner it can be made with Chicken shrimp and my now personal Favorite SALMON, it is a great pasta to have on the side of any meat or to halve your meat in it and if you aren’t a meat or fish lover you can add broccoli

Salmon – I have always loved a nice please of salmon, it is a food that you can grill up or make in a pouch in minutes and it always come out so tender, if you are health continuous you may put a pinch of pepper and a bit of lemon just to make the flavor pop, but for me I like my fish well-seasoned and the only way to find out my secret is to taste it and see

Dinner

This is the meal that everyone must have each day and this is the meal that people will sit down and really enjoy because this is the meal that they have the most time to prepare and to savor weather they cook it or have a spouse cook it or even go out to eat it but it’s the meal that you have to have, this is the meal you go all out on and you go back for seconds

Roasted and Fried Chicken

Chicken if you can’t cook chicken you can go home (or have me cook it for you LOL) but Roasted chicken is something that you just have to season to your taste toss it in the oven for a hour and when it comes out it’s juicy sometimes crispy (if you like that)

But if you want crispy Fried chicken is the way to go and for your health conscious people making fired chicken does not mean taking a vat of grease and making your chicken it about taking you chicken battering it and sitting it in the oven and letting it’s own juices fry it up nice in the oven and guess what if you do it that way you are eating a lot healthier and that is what it’s all about 

Homemade fast food

You knew we were coming here you can’t talk about food and not touch on this topic homemade fast food is actually a good thing because why… Health when you make it at home you can make it with a lot less fat then you KNOW the fast food restaurants make it with

My Favorite is

Philly cheese steak, the best way to do this is to actually go to the store get the sliced sirloin and tenderize it at home then cook it up and add you fixens to the side and you get a even better sandwich because you made it and depending on how you can drain the grease off of it

Fries

This is my all time FAVORITE thing, when I got bored one day and wanted some fires I went into the kitchen found a potato heated it slightly chopped it up and tossed it in a pan and made my first homemade fry and it was so much better because I had more control of how I cooked it you can put it in the oven and use Olive oil or vegetable oil… make it a little bit more healthy when it get to your table

Devils Food

Desert I have always loved desert, I have always had a thing for sweets and when I was a child my mother use to bake cakes and I would sit and watch her bake cakes and she showed me how and when I got older I would go out and I would buy cakes and I would first start making cakes from box directions then I started watching cooking shoes and I started to play around and substitute my own ingredients

It was funny I use to make cakes at my old home and we use to have a lot of visitors I would make a cake on Monday by Wednesday  it would be gone and people would sometimes find me just to say “hey I tried your cake and it was delicious” and so now I’m offering it to you

Cherry Chocolate cake -  I have grown to love making cherry chocolate cakes one day I just got the craving I went to the store bought some cherries in juice and brought it home I started wiping up a nice little chocolate cake and the next thing I know I had made one of the most moist and decedent cakes

Carrot Cake – I love Carrot came and I had never made it before and jus as I id with my Chocolate cherry endeavor I turned around and went to the store and picked up some interesting ingredients and came home put it in the bowl and made my first Carrot cake (ingredients will never be told sorry trade secret) and  made one of the most Moist Flavorful cakes you will ever taste and yet again it was off the table in less than three days

German Chocolate cake – I have away loved German chocolate cake sense I was a young child and I was in love with German chocolate cake it just had a different flavored a different felling then any other cake  have ever had or eaten you know that taste you get when it’s warm and you bite into it and you taste the chocolate and then the pecans and coconut from the icing and when it’s moist there is nothing like it there is non-other see this is how serious my cakes are my friend tried it and let me let you know this friend does not like chocolate cake at all and she had a slice of that and said “Okay, gimme some of that I’m taking it home and she did

Let me tell you a story, I had a big party that I had to go to I had nothing to wear I went on a whim to one of these stores and I went in what I  need was a nice top to go with my dress pants.

I walked into the store and I saw it, It was perfect, it was a pink silk top with black baby all ruffle that hang down over my his it had a bitt of bling on it and it was PERFECT but I waited and I looked around

I saw a tone of tops but none stood out to me like that did, so I bought it how much was it $39.99

Then I need some jewelry and a bag so I hit the Claire’s (you can go to any discount store that sell jewelry trinkets ) I know but it works and I found some cheep pieces, that were 14.99 each

A pair of earrings for 6.99 and you could get two for 1 half off. So I end up spending about $8.99 on the earrings.

I bought a bag that was just calling me for about $29.99, cute small pleather bag and look like it was worth $60 dollars easy but it work and I went out for my night

That day I spent about $100 and I came out with a elegant look to wear and I didn’t spend a arm and a leg for it

Well let me tell you how a fashion editor shops, they get up and they hit all the popular stores and I’m talking a top stores like Burberry (I went in there once and felt like I was out of place) that top and they go to all over them shop the season’s hottest pieces

The top trends at all stores, and they are the ones that have there buyers go in a get pieces , why because they hae to use these piece’s to style the shoots they usually go directly to the designer’s and get the clothing and then get them for free and then

They take the clothing and get with the photographers and set up to Photograph each of the pieces for the issue so they can show the trending wardrobe 

Then have them shot on Models for test shoots and then take it to the next step and have the season collection shot for the spread and in there seasonal big issues they have any were from 5 to 15 spreads mixed in with their ads on the hottest models,

Fashion Editors shop for trends, why because they need to appeal to the crowd and get that quick buck out to the stores, then they go for your average everyday look and spice it up what’s hot, WHAT HOT!! Don’t forget that they shop for the hot looks and go from there 

It’s basically a big corporate machine and the people that do blogs like this are more real because WE WEAR THE DAMN CLOTHING!! I would trust a person like myself or a shopper better because they are the customer they know what they want and that is what it’s all about KNOWING WHAT THE PEOPLE WANT!!

Editors sell to the masses; I sell to the people and am more real because I’m a person. So DON’T shops like Editor, shop like you!

Ready, Set , Go!!… Summer is Here even though it may take a few more days for the calendar to recognize it (Just kidding It’s really already here) so what now

You look in your closet and say “Oh my god I need to get rid of all this spring crap and get on the band wagon with Summer” Now for me it stayed WINTER cold all spring (weird Not the point) so when it got hot what you thing I had to do

GO SHOPPING!!

It’s time to hit the shopping wagon and get your summer shopping game face on, because it’s time to go.

What I did was I hit a place like T.J.Maxx and I went for summer looks that I liked MaxI dress PLEASE!! When I first went in I knew just what I wanted

Cool and would look good if worn repeatedly on hot days, and I was thinking maxi so I went for a print that screamed at me, I love animal prints so I went for a nice Animal print with red and turquoise flowers and it was a perfect maxi for me

I went to find some tops I could throw on when I was going out during the day found a top that was like a short mini dress in leopard print {tell you a secret … I LOVE LEOPARD PRINT!!! } so got that top

Got a nice top for going out to the club with my baby and had a bit of a cleavage going for it (make him drool (*wink*)

And it’s hot too hot for a winter hat so lets get out your straw a with ventilation and style grabbing two straw hats one with black and white and total black ()I like black more than light straw… don’t get dirty as easy)

Then I hit the bags, I’m a bag-a-holic so I can’t pass a clothing store without Ogling the bags, so I grabbed a stylish red bag and then hit the sunglasses counter

I picked up some nice sunglasses and they had a two for one sale and I grabbed up two one in a printed frame and the other in a plane frame and I now had my new summer wardrobe

So ladies get out there and hit the stores and change it up from spring to summer I know I have now it’s you turn

How doy you solve the age old question how do I get all the beauty products that I want a cheaper price for me

Well, the answer to that question is it’s possible, why because of today's faltering economy people are pinching there purse strings just a little bit harder then they did before, so the things that they use to do t help with beauty they may no longer be able to afford,

Or with some produces that have raising prices they may no longer have the budget for it.

So here are a few easy tricks to solving these problems

BUY GENERIC

WHAT!!

Yeah I said it Buy generic version of your favorite beauty product. Generic are you crazy, well when your purse strings are a bit tight you can by a generic brand of your favorite products and still get the same effect.

All generic is is the same product in a lower value wrapper all you have to do is know your brand and look up there sister brands and when you do some times you may be shocked to find out that the brand you saw on the shelf sitting next to your pricy products was made by the exact same people

See a lot of people by into the delusion cheap mean it’s not quality, well that isn’t all the time true.

See because of the fact that you see these cheaper product and scrunch up your face because it’s cheap doesn’t mean it going to work

The truth is they do and sometimes even THEY WORK BETTER!!

Now I know what your thinking well because it’s cheap is it going to work is it going to take care of my face or break me out

Well that depends see I would suggest if you have sensitive skin you buy a real good moisturizer to put on your skin first, does this mean spending a little more money

Sorry but yes, if you wear a good moisturizer, or skin repairer, you can where something cheaper, but know your own body, know your warning signs, know what makes yours skin sensitive

You may have to consult dermatologist or go online and look it up, once you find that out here is where I’m going to tell you the secret to all glory and wisdom

Now let us start you need to cleanse your face go get a stringent and clean your pours out first, you wswash you face everyday and still look at all the gunk that comes out of it when you use it, put on a moisturizer (I’ll be listing the products that I have used in a latter article) rub it all over your face let it dry then rub your face down with a foundation, and then figure out what king of make up you like

Light and airy, crème (you know you seen those commercials)

Pressed powder, put on a light coat of any of them

Then put a translucent make up under your eyes and then lay a concealer on top of that then choose your eye shadow (KNOW YOUR COLOR) pinks oranges and browns look good on me anything with a gold under tones so that works for me

I you like fake lashes apply them line them up and press down over your natural lashes, then put on a top coat over the concealer under your eyes of your make up then let us move to your lip chose your color if your going for day your looking for light colors if your going for night you may take that step and make it deeper colors

Then out line your lip with a lip pencil blend it by rubbing your lips together and let you hair down your ready to go

Now go – You can do it I believe in you get out there to that make up store and take on the world

They first find out what your color set is, yes we have to now go back to the colors we found for you in the colors section and start with that set,

• ·         Then we find your skin tone
• ·         What color is your skin, (there is a quiz to help you find your foundation)
• ·         then we have to find your eye tone (here is a quiz to find out what your peret eye make-up)
• ·         and once you know that you lastly need to put in your hair color (your hair, eye and skin determine your lip color)

Each quiz ask you four simple question to determine the perfect buys four you, do you have to buy the products from cover girl No but I would suggest you get the type of product in what ever

now you know what you are I’m a warm palette with read and peach undertones and my hair reflects burgundy undertones so I need to stay within a warm make-up palette

Now there are five type of Make-up sectors were going to cover

Crème

These are your neutral natural colors that looka to have a bit of creme white mixed into the foundation of the color

matte

this is a very Flat color set up it has no shimmer shine or glossy it’s just the color nothing else mixed in

satin

satin it has that nice rich color with a shimmery shiny undertone that creates the appearance of satin

 Shimmer

This is exactly what it says this is a make-up color that has a certain amount of shine to it that allows for when you look at it what you first see is the sparkle in the shine

These are usually your metallic colors your colors that shine so much it reminds you of a colored mirror or a Christmas ornament because that is just how much shine

Just because you get older doesn’t mean that you have to stop being Fashionable

Who said Because you reach a certain age that lets you out on being Fashionable IT DOES NOT!!!

 So lets talk about things that you van do at any age when it comes to your look from head to toe

Hair

Lets start with your hair Well as you get older your hair begins to change someone once told me that when your hair starts to turn grey it is a much courser type of hair, but what I would recommend is A die specifically for gey hair yeah you may not be able to wear the same dyes you did in your younger days but why should that stop you

Don’t believe the myth that people over 50 are the only ones with grey hair because guess what some people get grey at 30 and I myself found a few greys when I was 19 (YEAH IT HAPPENS !!)so it happens so we all may need something to help us in that field

Make Up

Cleansers is essential when were young we use cleansers to get ride of Pimples but as we get older Our sin needs different things

Things for dryness, and to give the skin the nurturance that it had when it was younger to give it that youthful appearance to help it stay clear

Then you have blemishes, dark spots that come with age the texture even changes of your skin and you need to give the things back to your skin to help it and there are product that do wonders for you at any age

CLOTHING

Wear to being, now THERE ARE things you CAN’T wear at any ages but most people should have common sense (but sadly they don’t ‘slaps head’)

Now hear is where it get tricky, there are basic style of clothing that people can wear at any age, you can still wear dresses, slacks blouses and jackets and your high heals but you have to be aare that a older persons body Is different weather they have and kids or not

A older person is not trying to be as flashy as a younger person, so if a young person wears a maxi dress they may want a fun print all the bangles and jewelry, but a older person is going to want to tone that look down put on a shrug or shall and they want a less loud print with not so much jewelry

A younger person might wanna put on a tight fitting pant’s suite, but a older person wants something not form fitting but (Still fitting them) and there because with kids your shape change and you never wanna show off any unsightly curves do they wear looser and longer clothing never too loose but look good on there figure

You should NEVER look Matronly, that a NO NO! and if you are a young woman you never wanna be called “YOU HAVE THE MOM LOOK” (and you don’t have any kids (wince!)   

It all boils down to knowing your body. And what shape you ae and how to dress your shape.

Shoes

Now this is tricky because woman can wear heals and flats at any age but most of time you don’t want to wear those flashy high heals when you get older because it can cause problems with you legs and calf muscles and it becomes more of a health issue and older people get arthritis in there legs ankles and feet when they get older and it does not get better if your wearing the wrong shoes so a older person may wanna wear a flatter shoe but still as stylish as others so they can still wear the flashy she’s just not as high.

Bags

What is fashion boot camp, Fashion boot camp is when you take someone’s look and it’s a tore down look and you explain a way for them to fix that look.

We all have been there we have violated EVERY fashion rule simply because it was so easy to put on something comfortable and not fashionable

So how do you fix it you identify the problem, have you ever seen any one out was ore up hair doo, you know they never comb their hair let their roots come out some with grey (Guilty)

So how do you fix it you comb all the matted roots out and then you wait 24 hours and you perm it from root to tip wash it treat it with a root touch up unless you are changing all the color then you put a fully brand new color that your hair, wash it set the style in and your done.

Have you in u ever seen a person that looked a over awful in the face whether it be dryness or oily skin freckles, moles, acne had a all over bad looks

Some time it’s the simplest thing that can fix that, using a facial cleanser once a day and once you have finished with the facial cleanser getting all the oil out of your skin (if that is your problem) you moisturize (good for those with dry skin) then you apply light make-up (REFER TO Let’s talk Beauty And look out for the coming article Transformation: Hot looks In Make-up)  

CLOTHING here we go again there are so many DON’T’s I can’t list them all but lets choose one the other day I saw a woman wearing a outfit it was a textile pattern but it was a see though you could see her bra and she had (AHH ROLLS) and to tight shorts

How do you fix this, put on a SOLID baby doll blouse with a fitting (not fit not tight just fit you body) pair of shorts . wear a bra that disappears and is your skin tone with n straps or adjustable straps. 

Then shoes DON’T wear sandals if your feet are torn up. Wear a closed toe shoe or get a file fore you feet foot lotion and give yourself a foot treatment , don’t take long had a guy that use to do it for me (boy I miss that he made my feet sparkle)well anyway moving on

Know your body know your style know what makes you look good and you don’t have to look like trash to go out just put the simple touches and you will do absolutely great.

I have been spending time studying colors in relation to peoples completion, in relation to fashion here I’m about to tell you  about the golden rule to finding your perfect color. 

Now most people believe oh well there are 4 season so there must only be 4 color arrangements for each of these season right, Wrong there are actually 12 color arrangements 

Your starters are

·         Dark-deep > light

·         Soft-Muted > clear

·         Warm > cool

Now those three arrangements lead you into your twelve categories

Deep dark

Light

<warm Light – cool light>

Soft Muted

<warm soft mute – cool soft mute>

Clear

and if you are a woman of color you are more likely to have  a different color arrangement falling in three different color field specifically for your color.  Now

When you take it home and you set it next to what you got now it’s time to play the match game. This is fun because you get to try on clothing and see how you look in your new looks
